Hopi Turquoise Corn (Zea mays) 90-100 days
Our friend Ron Boyd received this flour variety from John Kimmy of Talavaya seed company who received from a grandmother on first First Mesa. Ron has now grown the seed for 30 years at a range of elevations in northern New Mexico. The color runs from deeper blue through purple, white and turquoise. The corn stalk average is about 4-5 foot tall, one to two ears per stalk averaging 8 to 10 inches per ear. Grown by MG. Certified Organic. ~100 seeds per packet. Sold out for 2018.
